DUDO BAEZ 

Was founded in 2014 by his sons Jason and Roman Perez in New York City with Leagues, then eventually in 2015 expanded in the Dominican Republic with its first Basketball Academy directed by Carlos Minyetty and Roman Perez.

DUDO BAEZ is a training academy. the academy was named in honor of our late father, who was our greatest mentor and inspiration. Dudo Baez instilled in us the vigor of following our dreams, accomplishing our goals, and emphasized there is no limit to what one can achieve when they work hard. Most importantly, he believed in building character and resilience through sports, and that's precisely what we teach athletes at our academy. 

At DUDO BAEZ, we provide athletes, children, and adults with a platform to perfect their prowess of the game and enhance all-around personal development. We focus on individual and team training on and off the court, combining basketball skills training, strength conditioning, and mental conditioning to nurture talent and guide the players to soaring basketball careers. 

With a highly efficient teaching-focused program, we train our athletes based on age and skill level, while collectively training essential speed repetitions. Our concerted efforts to provide an opportunity for talented and potential basketball players in New York have earned us respect and recognition in equal measure. In early 2020, our Founder and Head Coach, Roman Perez, was named a finalist for the Junior Knicks Coach of the Year Award. We envision ourselves being an archetype of quality training and player development in New York and nationally and the guiding beacon for coaches, players, and teams in player and team development, training, and preparation.
